For once, it hasn’t been a super eventful week, so this week’s post is going to short and sweet. Last week I left off with my Thursday dinners. It was an average day, and I had a dessert order tagged on with one of the orders. Over the weekend, I had a small dessert order. I finally realized how exhausted I have been and wasn’t able to do much the rest of the weekend. I had my Meatless Monday dinners, but that’s really it for the week, since I didn’t do the farmer’s market.
My last few days of dinners went well. On Thursday, I had a pretty average amount of orders for what I’ve been doing these days. I had an order for cookies tagged onto one of the dinners, which I always enjoy doing. I am actually surprised that more people don’t order desserts with their dinners. I had about the same amount of dinners for Monday. I also had a dessert with one of the dinners. Both days were pretty stress free and I actually got done early with my deliveries on Monday.
The weekend was kind of rough. I have been waking up really early and staying up later than usual the past few weeks, and it is definitely taking its toll on me. It hit me hard over the weekend. I woke up around 4 AM with every intention of running before working on the cupcake order I had, but ended up falling back asleep for a time. Both Saturday and Sunday, I could hardly stay awake. I felt fatigued and my whole body ached. Somehow on Monday, my body snapped out of it and I was ready to work on my dinners!
The last few days have been spent resting and taking care of myself to the best of my ability. I’m not always the greatest about it, but I’m trying. I’ve been able to take care of some personal things, and I think I am ready to tackle my dinners for Thursday. Luckily this weekend, I have freed my calendar and will get to go out of town. Hopefully I will come back reenergized and ready to face next week!
